RestoreTax LLC is a technology platform based in Menlo Park, California that provides case preparation and management services for IRS tax debt resolution.
2. What information we collect
- Contact information: name and email address
- Tax information: Social Security Numbers, tax transcripts, IRS account information — collected only when you explicitly provide it for resolution services
- Payment information: processed by Stripe, we do not store card numbers
- Usage data: pages visited, tools used — collected anonymously
3. How we store and protect your data
- All data is encrypted at rest and in transit
- SSNs and tax identification numbers are stored using industry-standard encryption (AES-256)
- Databases are hosted on Supabase in US data centers
- Access is limited to your assigned enrolled agent and RestoreTax staff for support purposes
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes under any circumstances
4. Who has access to your case data

- RestoreTax technical staff for support and debugging purposes only
5. How long we retain your data
- Case files and tax records: 7 years to comply with tax record retention requirements
- Email addresses: until you unsubscribe or request deletion
- Payment records: as required by Stripe and applicable law
